Ting Studio
recent projects
I worked with the beautiful Ting Studio at Chaucer’s Yard, Sheffield to create an uplifting and serene mural in their sunlit yoga studio!
Working with their zesty brand colours of aqua, lime and mint Iand our shared love of Classical Chinese illustration, I created a soft mountain scape to bring a vibrant pop of colour and create an immediate impact when entering the space.
Bright colours and flowers are a nod to the traditional Petrykivka style, with Hrebinets - a 'comb' style of brush stroke adorning the design.
Sheafs of wheat bloom, and the design is finished by a white peace dove holding a golden olive branch, which is directly illuminated under evening lamp light.
THE UKRANIAN CENTRE
I invited to work with Doncaster Ukranian Centre to design a mural celebrating traditional Ukranian folk crafts, patterns and traditions with a modern twist.
The design is founded on the flowing ribbon, harking to the traditional floral and ribbon Vinok headdress worn at weddings and celebrations, with cross stitch detailing to celebrating Ukraine's rich and essential history of embroidery and craft.

W1 Curates
A personal piece exhibited at FLANNELS Oxford Street as part of the W1 Curates ‘Light it Blue’ Campaign in support of the NHS.
During 2020 W1 Curates transformed FLANNELS Oxford Street in London into a bright NHS blue on Thursday evenings at 8pm as part of the nationwide movement in support of the NHS. Artists were asked to present artworks created to inspire, commemorate and celebrate the NHS during the pandemic. My personal piece ‘Blue Angel’ was created as a decorative and bold representation of hope, symbolic of the institution itself.
